Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight’s (February 19) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the atmosphere in the hostel turns unexpectedly chaotic. Mukti and Shruti walk into their room, busy discussing their schedule for the day. Shruti reminds Mukti to change as they have to rush for class quickly.
But before Mukti can settle in, both she and Maira are stunned to discover that they have been assigned as bed partners. The revelation completely shocks them, and within seconds, their surprise turns into bickering. Both start arguing loudly, unable to believe they will have to share the same room and bed space from now on.

Meanwhile, far away from the hostel, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) finds himself lost in memories of Maira. On the other hand, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) quietly struggles with how much she misses Mukti. Both Armaan and Abhira refuse to return home, feeling that being there will only remind them of the painful memories tied to Maira and Mukti. They immerse themselves in work to distract their hearts.
Later, the scene shifts to college, where the new batch begins their introduction round. Mukti and Maira stand up one after the other to introduce themselves. Although they speak politely in class, they keep stealing irritated glances at each other, clearly still annoyed from their earlier encounter.
At home, Tanya receives good news – Manoj has finally cracked another big business deal, one they had all been waiting for. Excited, she rushes to share the news with Kajal. Kajal congratulates her and casually asks when Tanya plans to start a family. The question immediately creates tension.
Tanya confesses that she wants to focus on her career for now and indirectly blames Krish for the pressure she feels. Kajal then reveals that she knows Tanya is secretly taking pills. A heated argument follows, with Kajal accusing Tanya of deciding everything alone. Tanya breaks down and says she does not want her child to suffer like Maira once did. Hearing this, Kajal calmly advises Tanya to at least inform Krish about the decisions she is making.
MAIRA-MUKTI TO SHARE BED IN HOSTEL UNAWARE ABOUT THEIR CONNECTION
In class, the teacher instructs Mukti and Mairra to sit down and settle quickly. When the teacher asks a question, both Mukti and Maira react. Mukti raises her hand, but Maira blurts out the answer first. Mukti questions how Maira could answer without permission, and once again, the two land in a petty argument.
The teacher loses patience and scolds them for wasting class time, warning that they will face detention if they don’t stop. Embarrassed, Mukti and Maira reluctantly apologize. Maira silently promises herself that she should stop troubling Armaan with her pranks and prays to God to keep her away from Mukti. Meanwhile, Mukti prays the opposite – she doesn’t want to frustrate Abhira and hopes to stay away from Myra as much as possible.
Armaan throws himself into overtime, hoping work will help him escape thoughts of Myra. Abhira does the same, spending extra hours in the garage to avoid thinking about Mukti. Nishesha tries to feed Abhira, but she insists she isn’t hungry. Similarly, Arman tells Sanjay he has no appetite either. Their emotional turmoil mirrors each other.
Mukti and Maira are unimpressed with the hostel food, complaining endlessly. Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan secretly sneak into the hostel at night, each wanting to catch a glimpse of Mukti and Maira. Fate, however, plays with them once again. They cross paths, bump into each other, but fail to recognize who the other person is. The hit-and-miss continues, and both remain unaware that they are mere inches away from finally seeing their loved ones.
