Nicholas “Nick” Braimbridge died in May 2025, according to a GoFundMe campaign set up by Bridgerton art director Alison Gartshore. He is survived by his two teenage daughters, Flora and Amelia, and was preceded in death by his wife. His cause of death was not specified.
Braimbridge was a scenic artist who played a significant role in shaping the world of Bridgerton and its spinoff, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, helping to create the gorgeous sets we all adore.
“He was an expert faux finisher well known for his exquisite marbling and wood grain finishes, the knowledge of which was built up over years working with very top end interior designers and latterly within the film and TV industries,” Gartshore wrote.
She continued, “I worked closely with Nick and he was an integral part of our Art department team, and was a delightful, charming, funny man — a true gent. Everyone who met him loved him and we as a team are all very upset by his passing, he will be greatly missed.”

Tony Cooper was another member of the Bridgerton crew honored after the season 4 finale. A unit driver, Cooper was the one who made sure the cast, crew, props, and equipment for Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte got to and from set each day.
But his work wasn’t limited to these Regency-era dramas. According to his IMDb page, Cooper had an extensive career in the transportation department.
He was behind the wheel for the Harry Potter film series (2009–2011), The Crown (2016–2019), Wonder Woman (2017), the Mission: Impossible franchise (2018–2025), the Downton Abbey movies (2019–2022), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), The Batman (2022), and many more projects.
