The end is in sight for the record-breaking federal government shutdown, but there are still a few critical steps to go before Washington gets back to business.

Following the Senate’s vote late Monday in favor of a compromise package,

the House of Representatives is now the next big hurdle to clear. Votes could happen as soon as 4 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, and a roll call could be tight.
