According to Teamtalk, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea haven’t given up on signing Dusan Vlahovic as a free agent at the end of the season. However, the Serbian striker, previously linked with Arsenal, AC Milan and Liverpool too, prefers Barcelona as his potential destination at this point.
Juventus have scheduled a fresh round of negotiations with Vlahovic’s representatives over a new contract, which obviously means they maintain some hope of him continuing at the Allianz Stadium, but the vast difference between the salary the player demands and the one the Serie A giants have offered means these talks are not very likely to result in a signature on the dotted line.
The 26-year-old Serbia international has been out of action through an adductor injury since early December, but he could return to bolster Luciano Spalletti’s ranks after their clash with Roma on Sunday.
Before the injury, Vlahovic scored six goals and produced two assists in 17 matches across all competitions this season.
