Mumbai, February 13th, 2026: Valentine’s Day is often seen as a celebration of romance, but love exists in many simple and lasting forms. It is found in everyday moments, meaningful connections, and quiet emotions that bring comfort, balance, and warmth to life. Long before it is expressed outwardly, love is felt in small ways that stay close to the heart. This Valentine’s Day, Sony SAB artists Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Nitin Babu, Akshhaya Hindalkar, Rishi Saxena and Deeksha Joshi share their thoughts on love, reminding us that it is often found in simple experiences and moments that truly matter.
Sumbul Touqeer Khan, playing the role of Anvita in Itti Si Khushi, shared, “For me, Valentine’s Day isn’t about grand gestures or just romantic love it’s about emotional honesty and feeling truly understood. Love can be found in the people who stand by you when you’re at your lowest, who celebrate your smallest victories and who accept you exactly the way you are. I’ve learned that love starts with being kind to yourself and valuing your own journey. When you do that, every relationship, whether with family, friends, or a partner becomes more meaningful. This Valentine’s Day, I’m choosing gratitude for all the love that surrounds me in different forms.”
Nitin Babu, playing the role of Chirag Patel, in Pushpa Impossible, shared, “Love doesn’t always have to be dramatic or picture-perfect. Sometimes, it’s as simple as being there for someone, listening without judgment, and supporting each other through ups and downs. I believe Valentine’s Day is a beautiful reminder to express gratitude for the people who make your life better, even in the smallest ways. Whether it’s family, friends, or someone special, love is about consistency, trust, and genuine care. I feel lucky to be surrounded by people who keep me grounded and remind me what real love looks like.”
Rishi Saxena, playing the role of Sanjay, in Itti Si Khushi, shared, “I feel love is one of the most powerful emotions it teaches you patience, empathy, and balance. Valentine’s Day gives us a reason to celebrate that emotion, but I believe love should be expressed every day, not just on one occasion. True love is about growing together, supporting each other’s dreams and finding comfort in shared silences. It’s also about loving yourself enough to know your worth. That’s something I truly believe in and try to live by.”
Akshhaya Hindalkar, playing the role of Rashi Patel, in Pushpa Impossible, shared, “I think we often limit love by defining it only through relationships, but love is so much more than that. It’s about companionship, mutual respect and emotional honesty. For me, Valentine’s Day is about celebrating all the people who make life meaningful friends who feel like family, family who are your biggest strength and moments that stay with you forever. Love doesn’t need a label; it just needs sincerity.”
Deeksha Joshi, playing the role of Deepti, in Pushpa Impossible, shared, “It’s truly heartwarming to see people around you celebrating Valentine’s Day, making those little efforts and doing simple things to bring a smile on each other’s faces. Moments like these remind us that love doesn’t always need to be grand or dramatic sometimes, it’s found in the smallest gestures. When everything looks picture-perfect, expressing love feels easy, but real love is truly tested during difficult times. For me, love is about standing by each other when things aren’t perfect, choosing compassion over convenience, and growing together through challenges. That’s the kind of love that lasts and feels meaningful to me.”
