Sonal Chauhan stranded in Dubai: Bollywood actor Sonal Chauhan is stuck in Dubai after airlines halted operations, following missile strikes by Israel and the US on Iran. Sonal posted a detailed appeal through Instagram Stories, tagging key government accounts and asking for assistance. The wider crisis affecting Sonal Chauhan stranded in Dubai stems from rising tensions in West Asia. The US-Israel alliance carried out a joint strike on Iran aimed at toppling its regime. An Israeli “pre-emptive military strike” on Iran then spiralled into proxy attacks on US bases by Iran, and retaliatory strikes on pro-Iranian militant groups by the US and Israel.

With Sonal Chauhan stranded in Dubai, PV Sindhu held at the airport, and the Indian basketball squad delayed in Doha, many Indian travellers remain uncertain. Flight cancellations linked to the conflict have disrupted plans, while those affected wait for guidance from Indian authorities and local officials on safe options to continue their journeys.
