The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl XL champs, and we now have fewer than 75 days until the 2026 NFL Draft (April 23-25 in Pittsburgh).
The order for Rounds 1 and 2 is set, barring future trades. The 19th through 32nd picks in each round were decided by playoff results — teams eliminated in the wild-card round were placed into slots 19-24, divisional-round losers into picks 25-28, and so on. The complete order for Rounds 3-7 will be finalized once the NFL announces this year’s compensatory picks.
The first tiebreaker for draft positioning is strength of schedule, with the team that’s faced an easier schedule receiving the higher pick.
Also of note: The draft order for teams that finish with the same record shifts from round to round. For example, the Raiders hold the No. 1 pick by virtue of the strength-of-schedule tiebreaker, followed by the Jets, Cardinals and Titans at picks two through four, respectively; in Round 2, the Jets, Cardinals and Titans move up one spot and the Raiders fall to the bottom of that group (No. 36).
