Turkish Airlines carried 7.3 million passengers in December 2025 | News



Turkish Airlines announced passenger and cargo traffic results for December with 9.2% higher passenger capacity in terms of available seat kilometres compared to that of 2024. In December, the number of passengers was recorded as 7.3 million and total load factor as 82.6%.

According to December 2025 Traffic Results;

    The number of passengers carried was 7.3 million. International load factor was 82.6% while domestic load factor was 82.7%.

    The number of international-to-international passengers carried increased by 14.1% from 2.8 million in 2024 to 3.2 million in this period.

    Available seat kilometres (ASK), increased by 9.2% to 23.3 billion during the period of December 2025 from 21.4 billion for the same period of 2024.

    Cargo/Mail carried during the period of December 2025 increased by 15.9% from December 2024, totalling 192.4 thousand tons.

According to the January-December 2025 Traffic Results;

    The total number of passengers increased by 8.8% to 92.6 million compared to the same period of 2024.

    The number of international-to-international passengers carried increased by 12.8% to 35.7 million from 31.7 million in the same period of 2024.

    Total load factor was recorded 83.2%. International load factor was 82.9% while domestic load factor was 86%.

    Available seat kilometres (ASK) increased by 7.5% to 273.2 billion from 254.1 billion for the same period of 2024.

    Cargo/Mail carried during this period increased by 8.4% to 2.2 million tons from 2 million tons in the same period of 2024.

    By the end of December 2025, the number of aircraft in the fleet was 516.
