Tu Yaa Main Box Office Collection Day 3: Shanaya Kapoor, who made her debut with Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey last year, is making waves for her second release. We are talking about Tu Yaa Main which is a survival thriller drama and marks Shanaya’s first collaboration with Adarsh. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Tu Yaa Main revolves around a rapper and an influencer who have collaborated for project and ended up being stuck in an isolated pool with a deadly crocodile thus leading to a quest to survive.
Interestingly, Tu Yaa Main witnessed a box office clash with Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri starrer O’Romeo. Despite their different genres, O’Romeo gave a tough fight to Tu Yaa Main. In fact, the Shahid starer has been maintaining a lead over Tu Yaa Main since the beginning. And while the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match did affect the box office run of both movies, there have been speculations about which movie excelled the opening weekend collections

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Tu Yaa Main, which earned Rs 1.45cr on day 2, saw a significant dip in numbers on day 3 (first Sunday) and earned Rs 75 lakh. As a result, the movie’s collection after 3 days turned out to be Rs 2.8cr. To note, Tu Yaa Main has earned Rs 2.2cr in the opening weekend
O’Romeo CRUSHES Tu Yaa Main On Day 3
To note, Tu Yaa Main has been crushed by Shahd Kapoor’s O’Romeo. To note, O’Romeo earned Rs 9cr on day 3 and made a collection of Rs 21.65cr during the opening weekend which is way higher than Tu Yaa Main which settled at Rs 2.2cr collection in 1st weekend
Meanwhile, talking about Tu Yaa Main, Shanaya told PTI, “Adarsh introduced me to this technique in Atul sir’s workshop. At first when I heard it, I was like, ‘I don’t know if this is for me and if I can do it’. But I gave it a shot and it really helped. I watched a lot of videos of black panther, and that really helped me. I felt the way they moved was graceful, sensual, charming, and confident. My character Avani has that sensual side where you feel a little intimidated and she’s just gazing, she’s not looking at you in a way that you get scared, but there’s something about her look”.
