Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce led all players in fan voting for the 2026 Pro Bowl, the NFL said Monday, the second straight year he has been the top vote getter. The full AFC and NFC rosters — which combine fan, player and coach voting — will be revealed Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and Bears safety Kevin Byard rounded out this year’s top five in the fan voting.
If Kelce makes the AFC roster, it would be his 11th Pro Bowl selection, tying him with Jason Witten for the second most all-time among tight ends. Last year, Kelce was replaced by Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith while Kelce prepared for Super Bowl LIX.
This year is different, though, as the Chiefs (6-9) have already been eliminated from playoff contention. Entering Week 17, the Chiefs have lost six of their last seven games. They lost star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a torn ACL in a 16-13 loss to the Chargers on Dec. 14, and then lost backup Gardner Minshew to the same injury in a 26-9 loss to the Titans on Sunday.
Despite the teams’ struggles, Kelce has had a resurgent year. His 803 receiving yards rank third in the NFL among tight ends, and his 11.8 yards per catch is his best average since 2022. In 2024, Kelce totaled 823 yards and three touchdowns, his lowest figures since 2013.
Kelce, 36, is in the midst of his 13th NFL season and his last under contract with the Chiefs. He has pushed away retirement talk, telling reporters last week, “I think I’d rather just keep the focus of the media and everything on this team right now. … All the conversations that I have with the team and everything moving forward will be with them.”
The Bears led all clubs in total fan votes received, followed by the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Chiefs and Detroit Lions.
The Pro Bowl will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The league moved the games to Super Bowl week for the first time this season in hopes of increasing fan and player engagement.
