The RajaSaab OTT Release: The Telugu horror fantasy film has entered its post-theatrical phase after releasing worldwide during the Sankranti festive window. Written and directed by Maruthi, the film arrived in cinemas on January 9, 2026, and has since continued to draw audiences across Telugu-speaking regions and select markets in other languages. Backed by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, the film brings together elements of horror, fantasy, comedy, action, and family drama.
At the centre of the story is RajaSaab, portrayed by Prabhas, who leads a largely secluded life while caring for his grandmother, Gangamma. Suffering from Alzheimer’s, Gangamma remains emotionally anchored to memories of her missing husband, Kanakaraju, a former exorcist believed to be living in hiding. RajaSaab’s decision to uncover the truth about his grandfather sets the narrative in motion, taking him away from his familiar surroundings and into increasingly unsettling territory.
As RajaSaab’s search leads him to Hyderabad, he encounters new figures who become part of his journey. These include Bessy, a nun, and Bhairavi, both of whom play key roles as the investigation deepens. Their path eventually draws them toward a mysterious estate linked to RajaSaab’s family history. Within its walls, buried secrets, psychological conflicts, and unexplained forces begin to emerge, reshaping RajaSaab’s understanding of his family history and the mystery surrounding his grandfather’s disappearance.
