‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ Renewed for Fifth Season

Telepictures has renewed daytime talk strip “The Jennifer Hudson Show” for a fifth season, as Fox Television Stations sealed a deal to keep the show going for another year. The renewal comes as the daytime landscape continues to shift — most recently with NBCUniversal’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and Debmar-Mercury’s “Sherri” both announcing the end of their runs.

Hudson’s daytime talk show premiered in September 2022, replacing the Warner Bros. TV Group’s previous daytime talker “Ellen.” The show’s “Spirit Tunnel” has in particular become a viral phenomenon, attracting more than 6 billion views across platforms as celebrities dance their way to the talk show’s set, surrounded by cheering staffers — who belt out a familiar tune with lyrics rewritten especially for the guest.

“The Spirit Tunnel is a perfect example of how ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show‘ connects people,” said Telepictures current programming senior VP Lauren Blincoe. “It’s a segment that resonates emotionally and digitally, making viewers truly ‘feel the love.’”

For the 2025–26 season, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” posted year-over-year growth among Adults 25–54 and Women 25–54, with viewership up 10% among women in the key demographic. Social media engagement rose 90.7% to 17.5 million, impressions jumped 242.8% to 7.5 billion and engagement climbed 164.1% to 537 million. According to Warner Bros., the show ranks #1 among daytime talk shows on TikTok and Threads and continues to expand its audience on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X.

Season 4 has featured guests including Lizzo, Delroy Lindo, Kate Hudson, Hilary Duff, Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Puth, Mariah Carey, Selena Gomez, Cardi B and more.

“This show is about connecting with people in meaningful ways and sharing stories that lift and inspire,” Hudson said. “Our audience is the heartbeat of the show, and I can’t wait to take Season 5 to new heights.”

Produced by JHUD Productions and Telepictures, and distributed in national syndication by Warner Bros. Discovery Content Sales, the show has earned four NAACP Image Awards, a GLAAD Excellence in Media Award, a Webby, a Shorty, a Clio Entertainment Award and 13 Daytime Emmy nominations.
