World-class sporting action continues this week with the NFL trade deadline headlining the action and plenty on the agenda elsewhere too.

In soccer, the Champions League returns with two of its biggest sides in Liverpool and Real Madrid facing off at Anfield, while the next step of the dramatic conclusion to the Formula One season continues in Brazil at the weekend.

Monday

NFL trade deadline

The NFL’s trade deadline is upon us. This is the final opportunity for teams to load up their rosters before the push for the playoffs.

So, before the expected flurry of moves ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, we bring you all the latest.

Coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET.

“Monday Night Football” — Cardinals vs. Cowboys

Both Arizona and Dallas are under .500. The Cowboys are trying to avoid losing back-to-back games while the Cardinals are attempting to make do starting Jacoby Brissett at quarterback in place of the injured Kyler Murray. Who will come out on top?

Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET, 12 p.m. PT.

Tuesday

Champions League — Liverpool vs Real Madrid

Trent Alexander-Arnold makes his return to Anfield as Liverpool, who snapped their run of six defeats in seven with a win against Aston Villa on Saturday, host the competition’s record 15-time winners.

Coverage begins at 2 p.m. GMT, 9 a.m. ET.

NFL trade deadline

Teams make their final moves before the stretch run of the season.

Coverage begins in the morning and will carry on well past the 4 p.m. ET deadline.

Wednesday

Champions League — Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund

Pep Guardiola’s City continue their European campaign against a high-scoring Dortmund side as they look to finish in the top eight of the league-phase standings and ensure automatic qualification to the knockouts.

Coverage begins at 3 p.m. GMT, 10 a.m. ET. 

Thursday

“Thursday Night Football” — Raiders vs. Broncos

Winners of seven straight, the Broncos host their AFC West rivals who are coming off a heartbreaking overtime loss on Sunday. 

Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET, 12 p.m. PT.

Saturday

Premier League — Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United

Tottenham were booed off after a meek defeat against fierce London rivals Chelsea on Saturday and will be desperate to step up against Ruben Amorim’s inconsistent United.

F1 — São Paulo Grand Prix sprint race, GP qualifying

Points are on offer for world title challengers Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen at Interlagos.

College football — LSU vs. Alabama

Two long-time rivals, whose first meeting was back in 1895, clash in the “Saban Bowl.” The Crimson Tide are aiming to burnish their CFP credentials while the Tigers are attempting to get back on track playing in their first game since the firing of Brian Kelly.

Sunday

Premier League — Manchester City vs. Liverpool

A clash of the titans as two of the strongest sides in English soccer in recent years tussle at the Etihad. Defeat could spell disaster for either’s title bid.

F1 — São Paulo Grand Prix race day

A win at Interlagos would boost the title chances of either McLaren driver or would keep Verstappen’s unlikely comeback championship bid alive.

“Sunday Night Football” — Steelers vs. Chargers

A meeting of star quarterbacks as Aaron Rodgers leads the Steelers into Los Angeles to face Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
