The 50 Controversy: Social media stars Adnaan Shaikh & Faiz Baloch are currently making their presence felt as contestants in Colors TV and JioHostar’s ongoing reality show The 50. While they are giving their best, the duo has received strong support from their friend and Team 07 member Shadan Farooqui aka Saddu.
Shadan Farooqui, popularly known as Saddu, a core member of Team 07 and close friend of Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faish as well, has come out strongly in support of his friends and the influencer community following controversial remarks made by Prince Narula.
INFLUENCER SHADAN FAROOQUI SLAMS PRINCE NARULA FOR HIS STATEMENT
Speaking not just for his friends but on behalf of influencers across platforms, Saddu addressed the growing narrative questioning the credibility of digital creators in mainstream entertainment.
Prince Narula recently claimed that digital creators have “destroyed the industry” and reduced the value of traditional actors. He further alleged that influencers “can’t act beyond 12-second clips” and “can’t even speak properly in front of a professional camera.”
Actor Karan Patel echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Gadhe ghodon ki race main dauda diye,” while RidDhi Dogra questioned influencers’ professional ethics. Reacting to this, Saddu took to Instagram to voice his disagreement and called out the mindset behind such statements.
He said, “Guys mein aap sabko ek baat batana chahata hu, Ek video viral jaaa rahi hai Prince Narula ki. Aap Prince Narula ko toh jaante hi hongey, nahi jaante hongey toh mein aapko batata hu. Ye abhi The 50 show mein gaya hua hai, aur waha par maine uska ek comment sunna jaha par woh keh raha tha ki ye influencers 12-15 second ki reel banate hai inko show mein lena hi nahi chahiye tha. Ye mein kehna toh nahi chahata lekin aaj kal actors bhi 12-15 seconds ki reel banate hai tab toh hum unhe kuch nahi bolte. Rahi baat Prince ki toh tumhe itni jalan kyu hai? Isiliye tu life mein aage nahi badh raha, jo roadies tu judge kiya karta tha ussi ke contestants aaj tere sath uss show mein tere sath hai. Itni jalan kyu Prince? Itni jalan kyu?”
Saddu’s statement comes at a time when Adnaan Shaikh is giving his 100% inside The 50, consistently proving his dedication and sportsmanship, while Faiz Baloch continues to perform despite sustaining an injury, showing resilience and commitment to the game.
By standing up publicly, Saddu reinforced that influencers like Adnaan and Faiz are not shortcuts to fame but professionals who have earned their space through hard work, discipline, and audience trust. His support highlights loyalty, unity, and the need for inclusivity in an evolving entertainment industry.
