The 2026 Winter Olympics, Alexander Skarsgård leading a ‘dom-com,’ more top EW’s Must List

Hello from Hotlanta…or rather Coldlanta right now. I left the warmth of Los Angeles to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design‘s annual SCAD TVfest, where EW has been moderating panels and chatting with TV’s biggest stars all week. It’s busy, but I still found time to watch yesterday’s Traitors to see how the aftermath of the banquet all played out! —Patrick Gomez, Editor-in-Chief

P.S. If you want to receive the Must List in your inbox, sign up for our “Entertainment Weekly and Awardist” newsletters. You’ll receive all three each week — the trifecta of entertainment news.

From the inclusion of Heated Rivalry stars as torchbearers to a copyright issue launching Minionsgate, the Winter Olympics made headlines long before the games began. Now it’s officially time to watch athletes glide and stomp on ice and snow in pursuit of a medal. Whether you’re mainly interested in the opening ceremony (today on NBC and Peacock, featuring Mariah Carey), or you plan to tune in exclusively for figure skating (valid, especially since we’re officially getting a Minions-themed routine), there’s something for everyone across the 116 events. —Tiffany Kelly, Staff Editor

What many consider the best punk album ever gets the Rhino High Fidelity vinyl treatment, complete with glossy gatefold packaging and new liner notes from frontman Iggy Pop. “I feel alright!” he screams repeatedly on the song “1970”… and so will you. —Dalton Ross, Editorial Director

Justin H. Min may not have won it all on our favorite Korean reality competition show (The Devil’s Plan), but he gives a winning performance alongside Sophia Lillis (the It films) and others in this disturbing tech company drama at NYC’s Lucille Lortel Theatre. —D.R.

Everyone knows of Marilyn Monroe, but few knew the woman behind the blonde icon better than the artist who captured her best. Lynn Cullen’s bold and glitzy historical fiction novel gives voice to photographer Eve Arnold and her friendship with Monroe, a.k.a. Norma Jeane Baker. —Morgan Sanguedolce, Video Producer
