Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, directed by Malayalam filmmaker Nithish Sahadev, has emerged as a superhit at the box office. As TTT completed 22 days at the box office, the movie has now crossed the ₹40 crore mark globally.

As per the latest updates from the trade experts, Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil has now crossed the ₹40 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Jiiva starrer achieved this big feet, within the first 22 days of its release. Thus, the Nithish Sahadev directorial, which was made with a budget of around ₹10 crore, has emerged as the most profitable Tamil film of recent times.
According to the latest updates by trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty, the total worldwide collection of Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil now stands at ₹40.02 crore. Jiiva’s film has now collected around ₹36.82 crore with its domestic (all-India) gross collection. The Tamil Nadu collection now stands at ₹33.22 crore, while the film collected ₹1.96 crore from Karnataka and ₹1.22 crore from Kerala. The overseas collection of TTT has now crossed ₹3.20 mark.

The Nithish Sahadev directorial revolves around Jeevarathnam, a local politician and Panchayat predident, who is entrusted with ensuring that the wedding festivities at Ilavarasu’s house proceed smoothly. Jiiva appears as the central character Jeevarathnam in the movie, which stars Prathana Nathan, Thambi Ramaiah, Meenakshi Dinesh, Amith Mohan Rajeswari, Ilavarasu, and others in supporting roles.
