‘Tell Me Lies’ Podcast With Stassi Schroeder as Host Set at Hulu

Need more toxicity? Hulu is prepared. The streamer is launching the “‘Tell Me Lies’ Official Podcast,” hosted by Stassi Schroeder, Variety can exclusively announce.

The nine-episode podcast will premiere on Jan. 6, one week before the premiere of “Tell Me Lies” Season 3, with a Season 1 and 2 recap episode.

Video episodes will be available on Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, Disney+ and YouTube, domestically. Audio episodes are distributed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SiriusXM, iHeart Radio, TuneIn, Amazon Music, Pandora, as well as through audio channels in partnership with ABC News Audio.

Podcast guests include showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer; series stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder and Costa D’Angelo; costume designer Charlotte Svenson; and composer Jay Wadley. Celebrity fans Lauren Mayberry, Katie Maloney, Teala Dunn and Jessi Draper will also make appearances. Each episode will break down the drama as those involved share behind-the-scenes memories and tease what’s to come.

Earlier this year, Variety exclusively reported that Disney TV is launching a video podcast slate, which includes podcasts around “Only Murders in the Building,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Murdaugh: Death in the Family” and “Percy Jackson and The Olympians.” Coming up, they’ll debut podcasts for “Paradise” and “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” with more in development.

Schroeder recently hosted the Season 3 reunion special of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” for Hulu, and stars in “Vanderpump Villa.” She hosted her own podcast, “Straight Up With Stassi,” from 2015 to 2024 and now hosts Dear Media’s “Stassi” podcast.

“Tell Me Lies” Season 3 will pick up where Season 2 left off, continuing in two different timelines — college, where Lucy (Van Patten) and Stephen (White) have rekindled their tumultuous romance in time for their spring semester in 2008; and the second in 2015, moments before Bree (Missal) walks down the aisle to marry Evan (Cook). The first two epsiiodes will drop on Jan. 13, followed by weekly episodes; the finale will drop Feb. 24.
