Swayambhu: Nikhil Siddhartha Opens Up On His Physical Transformation: ‘They Sent Me To Vietnam For 45 days….’


At the grand teaser launch event of the much anticipated film Swayambhu, Nikhil Siddhartha who plays the fierce warrior on screen opened up about the intense physical and mental preparation he underwent to embody his character. The actor revealed that the transformation demanded far more than routine gym sessions, pushing him into a rigorous international training schedule.

Speaking about his preparation, Nikhil shared, “They sent me to Vietnam for 45 days, to become the warrior and to get the body language. 45 days I was in Vietnam learning martial arts, not partying, learning martial arts, doing all the weapon training and all that, so it was a life changing experience for me.”

The film demands a commanding physicality and disciplined combat technique, which is why Nikhil underwent structured martial arts drills and extensive weapon training under expert supervision in Vietnam.

Set during India’s glorious golden era, the teaser presents a narrative rich in heritage, courage, and cultural significance. At the heart of the story lies the powerful symbolism of the Sengol, hinting at a tale of legacy and honor. Nikhil Siddhartha appears in a fierce and commanding avatar, with the teaser packed with breathtaking visuals, intense drama, and action.

Swayambhu has been produced by Bhuvan and Shreekar of Pixel Studios. Presented as an epic tribute to India’s rich history and timeless glory, the film is set for a worldwide release in Summer 2026.
