MUMBAI, India-February 27, 2026: Prime Video and T-series today unveiled the complete music album of the upcoming Prime Original movie Subedaar, a soundtrack that mirrors the film’s emotional intensity and rooted identity. Packed with high-voltage anthems, folk-led rhythms, and heartfelt melodies, the album brings the world of Subedaar Arjun Maurya to life through music.
At the heart of the album is ‘Lalla’, the electrifying track composed by Rohan Vinayak, written by Rishi Upadhyay, and powered by Vishal Dadlani’s commanding vocals. The song captures Subedaar’s authority and sets the tone for his world. ‘Balam Subedaar’ offers a personal glimpse into Subedaar Arjun Maurya’s bond with his wife, Sudha, capturing her pride in her Subedaar beyond the uniform. The refreshed version is composed by Rutvik Talashilkar with recreation lyrics by Youngveer. Bringing a softer emotional layer to the album is ‘Ae Ri Sakhi’, featuring Shreya Ghoshal and IP Singh. Inspired by the poetry of Amir Khusrau, the song speaks of longing and distance, adding depth to the film’s narrative.
‘Maai Meri’ centres on a son’s promise to stand by his mother (earth), reflecting protection and responsibility. ‘Chilam Tambaku’ carries a sharp attitude and bold swagger, driven by rhythmic beats and fearless lyrics. ‘Subedaar Theme’ anchors the album with a disciplined musical motif that underscores the protagonist’s commanding presence.
Director and Producer of Subedaar, Suresh Triveni shared, “For me, the music of Subedaar was always about revealing different sides of Arjun Maurya. ‘Lalla’ carries his authority and the fire that defines him. ‘Balam Subedaar’ shows the pride and the personal world beyond the uniform. ‘Ae Ri Sakhi’ brings in the quiet emotion and distance that shape his journey. ‘Chilam Tambaku’ reflects the raw, local pulse of his surroundings. We wanted the album to feel well-rounded, so that whether you connect with the energy, the emotion, or the rhythm, there’s a song that speaks to you. Each track adds a layer to the character, and that is only possible because of the phenomenal composers, lyricists, and singers who worked closely with us to shape every note around his world. Together, the album reflects the strength, vulnerability, and rooted identity that drive the film.”
