project,
titled
Spirit,
is
touted
to
be
an
out-and-out
action
thriller.
Even
though
the
makers
have
not
revealed
the
film’s
lead
antagonist
yet,
the
rumourmills
suggest
that
the
Prabhas
starrer
has
already
found
its
villain.

to
the
grapevine,
director
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga
has
finally
found
the
lead
antagonist
of
Spirit.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
senior
Telugu
star
Gopichand
Malineni
is
in
talks
to
play
the
villain
in
the
upcoming
Prabhas
starrer.
However,
the
recent
reports
by
Great
Andhra
suggest
that
Gopichand
is
confirmed
to
join
the
Spirit
star
cast,
but
the
details
of
his
role
remains
unknown.
The
makers
of
the
film
have
not
reacted
to
these
reports
yet.
Earlier
the
popular
actor
had
stated
that
he
is
willing
to
turn
negative
onscreen,
but
stated
that
he
is
not
interest
in
routine
villain
roles.
If
Gopichand
joins
the
star
cast
of
Spirit
as
the
rumours
suggest,
the
project
will
mark
the
senior
actor’s
first
onscreen
collaboration
with
both
Prabhas
and
director
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga.
The
new
rumours
have
now
left
the
Telugu
cinema
fans,
extremely
excited.

earlier,
Spirit
is
has
been
slated
to
hit
the
theatres
across
the
globe
on
March
5,
2027.
Even
though
the
Prabhas
starrer
was
earlier
expected
to
have
a
2026
release,
it
has
been
pushed
to
the
next
year
owing
to
the
long
shooting
schedules
and
post-production
demands.
Prabhas
appears
as
an
ex-IPS
officer,
who
is
dismissed
from
the
force
for
a
mistake
he
did
not
commit,
in
Spirit.
However,
he
continues
his
fight
against
the
criminal
syndicate
without
compromising
his
moral
conduct.
Meanwhile,
he
also
develops
a
romantic
relationship
with
a
doctor,
who
helps
him
in
the
time
of
danger.
Tripti
Dimri
is
appearing
as
the
female
lead
opposite
Prabhas
in
the
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga
directorial,
which
stars
Vivek
Oberoi
and
Prakash
Raj
in
the
key
roles.
Harshavardhan
Rameshwar
is
composing
the
music
score
for
Spirit,
which
is
jointly
produced
by
T-Series
Films
and
Bhadrakali
Pictures.
