As per the reports, Sunil Malhotra breathed his last in his sleep after his battle with prolonged illness on Friday, February 14, 2026, at his Delhi residence.
He is survived by his wife Rimma Malhotra and sons, Harshad Malhotra and Sidharth Malhotra. Purnima Malhotra and popular actress Kiara Advani are his daughters-in-law. Sunil Malhotra’s last rites were reportedly held in Delhi, in the presence of his family members and loved ones.

The Shershaah actor recently took to his official Instagram handle and confirmed the reports on his father Sunil Malhotra’s demise, with a heartbreaking note and a series of throwback pictures. “He was a man of rare honesty, integrity and culture. He lived by values that never bent. Discipline without harshness. Strength without ego. Positivity, even when life tested him beyond measure,” wrote Sidharth Malhotra in his post.
