Shubhangi Atre Confirms Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai EXIT, Shilpa Shinde’s Ret-Entry After 10 Years | Why Shubhangi Atre Is leaving Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai After 10 Years? | Shilpa Shinde Confirmed To Return As Angoori Bhabhi In Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai | Shubhangi Atre Ends Replacement Game With Shilpa Shinde

Shubhangi
Atre
Exits
Bhabi
Ji
Ghar
Par
Hai:

Shubhangi
Atre,
TV’s
much-loved
Angoori
Bhabhi,
has
officially
confirmed
that
she
is
exiting
the
long-running
sitcom
Bhabi
Ji
Ghar
Par
Hai,
putting
an
end
to
the
ongoing
speculation
that
began
a
few
days
ago.
The
news
first
surfaced
online
when
reports
claimed
that
the
makers
had
approached
Shilpa
Shinde
to
return
as
Angoori
Bhabhi.

WHY
SHUBHANGI
ATRE
IS
LEAVING
BHABI
JI
GHAR
PAR
HAI
AFTER
10
YEARS?

Now,
Shubhangi
has
herself
announced
that
she
has
shot
her
final
episode
for
Bhabi
Ji
Ghar
Par
Hai,
describing
the
moment
as
deeply
emotional
after
being
part
of
the
show
for
nearly
a
decade.
The
actress
stepped
into
the
role
of
Angoori
Bhabhi
in
2016,
shortly
after
Shilpa
Shinde’s
abrupt
departure.

Speaking
to
Bombay
Times,
Shubhangi
said
she
leaves
the
show
with
immense
gratitude.
She
shared
that
the
journey
felt
like
home,
and
saying
goodbye
was
far
more
difficult
than
she
expected.
However,
she
believes
her
exit
is
a
blessing
in
disguise,
as
it
gives
her
the
chance
to
explore
new
roles
and
characters
outside
the
long-running
sitcom.
Although
she
did
not
reveal
the
exact
reason
behind
her
decision,
she
wished
Shilpa
all
the
best
for
returning
to
the
character.

Confirming
her
exit,
Shubhangi
Atre
told
the
portal,

“I
always
promised
Mrs
Kohli
that
my
journey
in
the
show
would
start
with
aan,
baan
aur
shaan
and
that
is
exactly
how
it
would
end
too.
I
could
not
have
asked
for
a
better
exit.
There
is
no
point
delving
into
the
reasons
for
the
replacement.”

SHUBHANGI
ATRE
ON
SHILPA
SHINDE’S
COMEBACK
AS
ANGOORI
BHABHI

Interestingly,
this
marks
the
second
time
Shubhangi
has
taken
over
a
role
originally
played
by
Shilpa
Shinde.
Viewers
may
recall
that
the
same
happened
in
Chidiya
Ghar,
where
Shubhangi
played
Koyal
Narayan
before
Shilpa
eventually
returned
to
the
role.

Talking
about
the
replacement
game
with
Shilpa,
Shubhagi
added,

“I
just
want
to
say
that
I
am
ending
this
replacement
game
now.
I
told
my
mum
that
Shilpa
left
the
show
in
nine
to
ten
months,
so
it
felt
like
she
handed
me
a
newborn
baby.
I
raised
that
baby
for
ten
years,
and
now
I
am
returning
it
to
her.
I
gave
it
values
and
sanskars,
and
I
am
passing
it
back
with
a
full
heart.
I
wish
Shilpa
all
the
very
best
and
also
the
entire
team
for
the
2.0
version
of
the
show.
She
is
a
fantastic
actor,
and
I
am
genuinely
fond
of
her.”

For
those
unaware,
Shilpa’s
portrayal
of
Angoori
Bhabhi
made
her
a
household
name,
but
her
sudden
exit
in
March
2016
sparked
a
major
controversy.
At
the
time,
the
actress
accused
the
makers
of
“mental
torture,”
claiming
she
was
pressured
to
sign
an
exclusivity
contract
and
prevented
from
working
on
other
shows.
She
also
alleged
pending
payments
and
unequal
treatment
on
set.

The
situation
escalated
when
the
production
house
issued
a
legal
notice
against
Shilpa,
accusing
her
of
breach
of
contract
and
unprofessional
behaviour.
With
Shilpa
reportedly
returning
after
nearly
10
years
and
Shubhangi
stepping
out,
the
show
is
now
headed
for
a
major
shift

one
that
fans
are
watching
very
closely.
