For Summer 2026, Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson is bringing literary classics to signature shoulder bags (namely the Saddle Bag), card holders, t-shirts, jackets and the star of the show: the brand’s best-selling Book Tote, in its most literal interpretation to date. Each piece in The Book Cover Collection showcases a first edition cover of 18th, 19th and 20th century literature.
Featured books include Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Gustave Flaubert’s Madame Bovary, Françoise Sagan’s Bonjour Tristesse, Charles Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du Mal (The Flowers of Evil), James Joyce’s Ulysses, Choderlos de Laclos’ Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons), Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood and, the most self-referential of all, Dior by Dior. Within hours of the collection’s Jan. 14 online launch, select styles, most notably the Book Totes, began to sell out.
Rapper, singer and songwriter 070 Shake fronts The Book Cover Collection’s campaign alongside a variety of writers, booksellers and literature lovers. Imagery is shot by photographer Angèle Châtenet, and the shoot is set among the bouquinistes stalls along the Seine River in Paris. While the Summer 2026 capsule is divided into men’s styles and women’s styles, most items feel entirely unisex.
