Taylor Swift has tapped some famous friends for her latest music video. 

On Friday, the 14-time Grammy winner dropped the ’90s-themed visuals for her song “Opalite” on Apple Music and Spotify. Written and directed by Swift, the clip sees the singer fall in love with a fellow loner (Domhnall Gleeson) after spraying herself with a love potion fittingly called Opalite. 

In an Instagram post, Swift revealed that she got the idea for the video after Gleeson joked about wanting to be cast in one of her music videos on The Graham Norton Show last October.

“He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an *idea*,” Swift wrote. “And so a week later he received an email script I’d written for the ‘Opalite’ video, where he was playing the starring role.”

She also extended the invitation to the other stars on the show that evening. “I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on the Graham Norton show that night, including Graham himself, could be a part of it too. Like a school group project, but for adults, and it isn’t mandatory,” she continued. “To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video.”

Domhnall Gleeson

Gleeson, known for films like About Time and television shows like The Paper, stars as Swift’s shy love interest in the video. Trapped in a prickly relationship with a cactus, his life changes overnight when Swift sprays herself with Opalite and is magically transported into his living room.

Greta Lee

Past Lives actress Greta Lee makes a brief cameo in the video as a moody songstress performing on MTV when Swift visits a bar with her pet rock.

Cillian Murphy

Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy also makes an appearance as the spokesmodel for Opalite, appearing on a billboard with a bright smile and thumbs up.

Jodie Turner-Smith

Jodie Turner-Smith, who recently starred in Tron: Ares with Lee, also pops by to lead an aerobics class that Swift watches on her television.

Lewis Capaldi

“Someone You Loved” singer Lewis Capaldi transforms from a Grammy-nominated artist into a cheesy mall photographer for the video, taking snapshots of Gleeson and Swift before joining in on the fun and hopping into the photos himself.

Graham Norton

Television host Graham Norton also gets his own moment to shine as a mall employee peddling Nope-alite, which reverses Opalite’s effects. He sprays a young man with the potion and nearly gets Swift before Gleeson swan dives and knocks the bottle out of his hands.
