Scottie Barnes just won’t let the Toronto Raptors lose.
Barnes continued the Raptors’ run of excellent play with a walk-off block on Collin Sexton, giving Toronto a 110-108 win, its eighth in nine games.

“It was a high-level play,” Raptors coach Darko Rajaković said.
Barnes capped a frenetic final defensive stand for the Raptors. Just before Barnes’ final block, Brandon Ingram blocked the Charlotte Hornets’ 7-foot-1 centre, Ryan Kalkbrenner, at the rim, with the Hornets looking poised to tie the score. Instead, Charlotte had to inbound the ball, setting the stage for Barnes’ clinching denial.
Barnes continues to play all-around excellent basketball, putting up 16 points, six rebounds and six assists in the win. He had a huge night last week in Cleveland and has helped the Raptors get off to a nice 9-5 start.
Ingram is also fitting in well, leading the Raptors in scoring. He paced the Raptors with 27 points, also setting up RJ Barrett’s game-winning layup with 18.4 seconds left, getting the ball off after drawing a double-team.
