Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan remains in the ICU at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after admission on February 17, but doctors and family members say the condition is gradually improving. Aamir Khan has visited the hospital and has indicated that Salim Khan could be discharged and return home soon, depending on recovery.
Consulting pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parkar, who is monitoring treatment, explained that tests showed a minor brain haemorrhage and that a procedure called DSA was carried out in the morning. According to Dr. Parkar, surgery was not needed, Salim Khan is stable, and doctors expect recovery to take longer because of age.
