Rohit Shetty House Firing Case: A chilling incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday (February 1), when gunshots rang out near filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence. According to initial reports, around four rounds were fired outside the director’s home at around 1:00 AM, triggering panic in the area and sending shockwaves across the film industry.

The sudden firing outside the Golmaal 5 director’s residence left residents alarmed, prompting authorities to immediately tighten security around Shetty Tower.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the Mumbai Police have arrested five suspects so far in connection with the firing outside Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence. The accused have been identified as Aman Anand Marote (27), Aditya Gyaneshwar Gayaki (19), Siddharth Deepak Yenpure (20), Samarth Shivsharan Pomaji (18), and Swapnil Bandu Sakat (23). Officials say the arrests were made following multiple leads gathered during the early stages of the investigation.

Following the disturbing turn of events, the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility for the gun attack.

As per reports, the gang allegedly issued a Hindi statement on social media that allegedly read, “Ram Ram, Jai Bajrang Bali to all brothers. Today, we, Shubham Lonkar, Aarzoo Bishnoi, Hari Boxer, and Harman Shandu, take responsibility for the firing at film director Rohit Shetty’s home in Mumbai. We messaged him many times not to interfere in our work, but he did not understand. This is just a small trailer. If he doesn’t listen, the next bullets won’t be outside the house-they will be inside his bedroom, into his chest. This is a warning to the entire Bollywood industry: mend your ways or your condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s. To those we have called-fall in line or you will run out of places to hide. And to our enemies, be ready; wait and watch. (sic)”

Rohit Shetty House Firing Case: New Explosive Details Emerge

According to IANS, fresh findings from the Crime Branch investigation suggest that the gun attack outside Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence was carefully planned well in advance. Officials believe the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had carried out a detailed recce of the area before executing the firing, indicating that the accused meticulously surveyed Shetty’s home, tracking nearby lanes, entry and exit routes, and even monitoring police movement in and around the Juhu locality to avoid detection.

Investigators have also uncovered that the attackers allegedly used the same scooter for recce and execution, ensuring a quick getaway after the incident. The vehicle – a Honda Dio (MH 12 FN 2205) – was reportedly purchased from Pune for nearly ₹30,000, with the funds allegedly arranged by the gang’s key handler, Shubham Lonkar.

Further details reveal that the scooter was initially registered in the name of Anand Marote and was later sold to the arrested accused Aditya Gaikwad just around 12 days before the firing.
