Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson have been announced as performers during the In Memoriam segment during this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, while Ms. Lauryn Hill will perform in honor of D’Angelo and Roberta Flack and a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will feature Post Malone with Watt, Slash, Duff McKagan and Chad Smith.
Osbourne’s tribute features numerous artists who worked with the Black Sabbath frontman over the past few years. Watt served as executive producer for Osbourne’s final album “Patient Number 9,” while Malone duetted with him on 2019’s “Take What You Want.”
The tribute to late musicians follows last year’s In Memoriam segment that featured Coldplay’s Chris Martin performing the group’s ballad “All My Love” with Grace Bowers.
The latest slate of artists tacks on to the growing list of previously announced performers including Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Clipse, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Pharrell Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr, and The Marías.
The Recording Academy revealed earlier this week that Harry Styles and Doechii have been tapped as presenters, and more performers and presenters are expected to be announced in the coming days.
The 68th Grammy Awards are scheduled to air live on February 1 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. ET. Trevor Noah will host the ceremony for the sixth consecutive year, and will conclude his run as this year will be his final time emceeing the event.
Prior to the big show, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on live.Grammy.com.
