While the first part, Ramayana Part 1, will be out in Diwali 2026, Part 2 is scheduled to release in cinemas next year (2027) on Diwali. Last year in July, the makers had dropped a stunning first-look introduction video, offering a glimpse into the world of Ramayana, created by Nitesh Tiwari and bankrolled by Namit Malhotra.
Ramayana Cast Truth: Vikrant Massey Gets Replaced By Raghav Juyal In Nitesh Tiwari’s Film?
Recently, Variety India exclusively reported that The Bads Of Bollywood’s Raghav Juyal allegedly replaced Vikrant Massey as ‘Meghanad’ (aka ‘Indrajit’), the eldest son of Ravana, in the Bollywood epic film. As claimed by the portal, things reportedly didn’t work out and the makers roped in Juyal, who will be seen in the second part (Ramayana Part 2).
Soon after the news went viral, National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey cleared the air by himself and lashed out at media portals for the “irresponsible” coverage. Taking to his Instagram story, the 12th Fail actor reshared the news, which was posted by Pinkvilla, and wrote, “OK. To put things to rest, I was never a part of this movie. Am not, never was. Such irresponsible media coverage from “respectable” media houses is kinda appalling. Nonetheless, wishing everyone on Ramayana all the very best. Will surely buy a ticket and watch it in cinemas. (sic)”
