Plot Overview, Cast, and Crew
Rakkasapuradol follows Shiva, an arrogant and often drunk police officer who arrives in the village of Rakkasapura. Soon after his arrival, a series of unusual manhunts begins, unsettling the local community. As fear spreads, some villagers start viewing him with suspicion rather than as a protector. The situation grows tense as superstition and rumours influence public opinion, placing Shiva at the centre of the conflict.
Alongside Raj B Shetty, the cast includes Swathishta Krishnan, Archana Kottige, Anirudh Bhat, B Suresh, Gopal Deshpande and others in supporting roles. The film is directed by Ravi Saranga and produced by Dr. K. Ravi Varma under the banner of KN Entertainments. Cinematography is handled by William David, with music composed by Arjun Janya. Editing has been overseen by KM Prakash, while art direction is by Mohan B Kere.
As the film continues its seventh day in theatres, trade observers will be watching whether the steady day-to-day growth sustains through the rest of the week. The coming days will indicate whether the gradual upward trend converts into stronger overall box office numbers.
