Formally announcing the launch of “Qodrat 3,” Magma Entertainment underscored “Qodrat” as the studio’s flagship IP as the cinematic universe expands. The next instalment of Ustadz Qodrat’s story will be slated for Indonesian theaters in 2028. The company also unveiled “Mayat Hidup,” billed as as a campy and colorful comedic horror explicitly inspired by iconic vampire flicks of Hong Kong cinema from the 80s and 90s. The producers promise a vibrant, dynamic tone that appeals to nostalgic cultural aesthetics that are valued throughout Asia. Its production is scheduled to start in 2026.

The producers confirmed “Badut Gendong” as the pivotal step in the expansion of the “Qodrat” cinematic universe, which will be released across Indonesia in 2026. Featuring Marthino Lio as the leading role, the main plot navigates a fresh mystery of a haunting clown-doll entity.

“‘Badut Gendong’ is the natural evolution of the ‘Qodrat’ universe. We’re not simply making a spin-off, we’re building a larger, more immersive narrative architecture. We are committed to preserving the emotional depth that has always been the DNA of ‘Qodrat,’” producer Linda Gozali said.
