Post Malone paid tribute to Marshawn Kneeland during his halftime performance at the Dallas Cowboys-Kansas City Chiefs Thanksgiving Day matchup.
Malone wore a No. 94 button, Kneeland’s number, during the performance and closed the show by saying, “We love you 94.”
Kneeland, who played defensive end for the Cowboys, died Nov. 6 at age 24 from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Cowboys have been paying homage to Kneeland since his death, wearing helmet decals with his number.
Dallas held a memorial candlelight vigil during their Week 10 bye. Players and staff also wore shirts bearing Kneeland’s photo, and the Cowboys prepared a locker in his honor ahead of their Week 11 win against the Las Vegas Raiders, their first game following his death.
Kneeland was in his second season with the team after being selected in the second round of the 2024 draft. He played in seven games this season, with three starts, 12 tackles and one sack.
On Nov. 3, three days before he died, Kneeland scored his first career touchdown after recovering a blocked punt in the end zone during a 27-17 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
