Both

films’ releases
ran

lately
after
the
censor
board
failed
to
issue
certificates

recent
updates
suggest
that
Parasakthi
has
now
cleared
censoring
with
a
U/A
certificate,
while
Jana
Nayagan
is
also
out
of
trouble.

the
latest
reports,
the
upcoming
period
political
drama
featuring
Sivakarthikeyan
will
release
as
planned,
on
Saturday,
January
10,
2026.
The
Sudha
Kongara
directorial
received
its
censor
certificate
on
January
5,
2026,
evening,
and
has
bagged
a
U/A
certificate
with
a
few
changes.
The
censoring
of
Parasakthi
was
initially
put
on
hold,
reportedly
due
to
the
film’s
sensitive
content.
However,
now
it
has
been
confirmed
that
the
film
will
release
as
planned.

The

delay
in
the
censor
formalities
of
the
upcoming
Thalapathy
Vijay
film
had

the
actor’s

deeply

not
receive
censor
certificate
anytime
soon,
as
the
censor
board
officials
have
appealed
for
another
screening,
even
after
making
all
the

that
were

Nayagan
might
get
pushed,
if
the
censor
certificate

not

very

However,
the

suggest
that
Thalapathy
Vijay’s
film
has
cleared
the
censoring,

set
to
receive

U/A
certificate.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
the
censor
certificate
will
be
issued
by
11
AM
on
January
6,
2026.
The
Tamil
Nadu
advance
bookings
of
the
film
are
expected
to
begin
soon
after
the
same.
