The Ratheena directorial, which hit the big screens on October 17, 2025, had received mixed reviews from the audiences and ended up as a box office failure. After multiple delays and a long wait, Paathirathri is now finally gearing to have its OTT release soon. The post-theatrical streaming rights of Soubin Shahir and Navya Nair’s film have been bagged by the popular platform, Zee5.
Paathiraathri is gearing up to have its OTT release on Zee5, on Friday, February 20, 2026. “Witness the Night That Stays With You… Paathirathri Premieres February 20th on Malayalam ZEE5,” posted the popular streaming platform on its official Instagram handle. From the social media post, it is safe to assume that the multi-starrer will be available for streaming only in its original Malayalam version.
Paathirathri Plot, Cast And Crew
The Ratheena PT directorial depicts the lives of two cops – SI Jansi and CPO Hareesh, who get caught in a major crisis during their night patrol duty. Together, they get into a mission to unravel the mystery behind the death that put their careers in jeopardy that night. Navya Nair plays the role of Jansi in the film, which stars Soubin Shahir as Hareesh.
Sunny Wayne and Ann Augustine appear as Ansar Ali and Yasmin in the film, which stars Harisree Ashokan, Athmiya Rajan, Pooja Mohanraj, Shabareesh Varma, Indrans, Achyuth Kumar, Aadukalam Naren, Binu Thomman, Athulya Ashadom, and others in the key roles. Jakes Bejoy composed the music score. Shehnad Jalal ISC is the director of photography. Sreejith Sarang handles the editing of the film, which is produced by Benzy Productions.
