O’Romeo Box Office Collection Day 1: Shahid Kapoor fans gain a new reason to celebrate as his much talked about movie O’Romeo, a romantic action thriller, has finally hit the screens. The film is written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, O’Romeo is widely seen as one of 2026’s most awaited Hindi films. Interestingly, O’Romeo also marks Vishal Bhardwaj’s return to direction after three years, adding further curiosity around how the story plays out onscreen.
The film pairs Shahid Kapoor with Triptii Dimri for the first time, and their on-screen chemistry is already highlighted as a major attraction. According to a report published in Sancilk, O’Romeo failed to hit the double digit and made a collection of Rs 8.25cr on day 1 (first Friday)
O’Romeo Creates A Record On Opening Day
With an opening day collection of Rs 8.25cr, O’Romeo has managed to beat the first day collection of Deva (Rs 5.78cr) and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (Rs 7.02cr). As a result, O’Romeo has emerged as Shahid’s highest opener post COVID 19
