O’Romeo Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in the 2025 release Deva, is all over the headlines these days. After all, he is coming up with his first release of the year. We are talking about O’Romeo which is an action thriller. To note, O’Romeo is written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Apart from Shahid Kapoor in the lead, O’Romeo also features Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Vikrant Massey.

To note, O’Romeo marks Shahid’s first collaboration with Triptii and their fresh chemistry is one of the key elements of the movie. Interestingly, the action thriller also happens to be Shahid’s fourth collaboration with Vishal Bhardwaj after Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon, and given their past collaborations, high hopes have been pinned for O’Romeo. As the movie is set to release on February 13, the makers have begun the advance booking and it has received a decent response.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, O’Romeo has made a collection of Rs 1.18cr with a sale of 50,361 tickets until 9:40am today. To note, the collection including the block seats happens to be Rs 3.26cr

O’Romeo To Beat Deva Advance Booking Collection

Interestingly, O’Romeo is set to beat the advance booking collection of Shahid’s previous release Deva which happens to be Rs 1.67cr with a sale of 72,660. To note, the earnings with the block seats happened to be Rs 3.29cr. It is evident that O’Romeo will be surpassing the advance booking collection of Deva today and will emerge as Shahid Kapoor’s highest advance booking collection. It will be interesting to see if it can beat the opening day collection of Deva as well.

Meanwhile, Shahid penned a sweet note for director Vishal Bhardwaj and wrote, “Thank you for OROMEO!!! Another character for me that’s etched in my filmography. So proud, so happy and so grateful”.
