O Romeo Box Office Collection Day 4: O Romeo faced its first major box office test on Monday, a day often seen as a turning point for new releases. After opening to mixed reactions from both audiences and critics last Friday (February 13), the romantic action drama showed how well it could hold steady once the weekend rush settled.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film stars Shahid Kapoor alongside Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary in key roles. The film entered theatres amid a box office clash with Tu Yaa Main, starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav.

Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, O Romeo marks Shahid Kapoor’s fourth collaboration with Vishal Bhardwaj, a partnership known for delivering critically appreciated films – Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon – in the past. Besides Shahid, Triptii and Avinash, O Romeo also boasts a star-studded supporting ensemble including names like Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah Bhatia, along with veterans Nana Patekar and Farida Jalal.
It was already anticipated that O Romeo would face a sharp drop in numbers on Monday (yesterday, Feb 16). According to the Sacnilk update, the film recorded a huge dip by 47.22% and netted around ₹ 4.75 cr.

With an opening day collection of Rs 8.5 cr, Shahid Kapoor’s O Romeo witnessed an impressive jump in Saturday numbers. But from Sunday, the movie saw a back-to-back drop in numbers. After Monday, the total 4-day net figures currently stand at Rs 34.90 cr (approx.) at the domestic box office.
