Noah Kahan Debuts ‘The Great Divide’ Music Video During 2026 Grammys

Noah Kahan has released the music video for his latest single, “The Great Divide,” and casually dropped a tour announcement.

The folk-pop singer, who announced his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, last week, teamed up with Mastercard to debut the music video during a commercial break for the 2026 Grammy Awards telecast. He follows in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, who premiered her Grammy Award-winning “Abracadabra” during the Mastercard commercial break of the 2025 Grammys.

At the end of the video, a voiceover announced that Kahan’s next North American tour would hit the road in summer 2026. Mastercard is offering special access to cardholders for tickets to the tour.

The emotional video paired perfectly with Kahan’s vulnerable new track. The single is Kahan’s first off the highly anticipated upcoming album, which is set to release on April 24. “The last five years have been the single most challenging, complicatedly beautiful, and life-altering of my career,” Kahan said in a release about the album.

“I was somewhere I understood, and suddenly I was somewhere completely foreign. I was living in the opportunity I always wanted but felt disoriented and unsure of whether I deserved it,” he continued. “Writing for this album was a balancing act of trying to go back in time and move forward in the same moment. Songwriting has always been the way I reflect on my life, and I hope these songs show you a glimpse of what this journey has looked like.”

Kahan is set to release a documentary film with Netflix ahead of The Great Divide’s release; The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news over the weekend. In the film, director Nick Sweeney follows the Vermont singer-songwriter’s life after the major success of his 2022 album, Stick Season, which served as his mainstream breakout hit.
