Thanksgiving is a holiday almost as much about football and it is about the food. Get ready for Thanksgiving football with my model’s projections for the week.

I have developed an NFL Projection Model that takes in play-by-play data to create projections for each team in the NFL. These projections are adjusted for opponent and garbage time before spitting out an expected points-per-game for the offense and defense. From there, I’m able to plug these values into the model and get an expected spread and total for each game of the NFL season.

For the Thanksgiving games, my model has the Lions by 2 points against the division-rival Packers, the Chiefs by 2.5 at the Cowboys and the Ravens by 7.5 against the Bengals. On Black Friday, it likes the Eagles by 8.5 points.
