Newcastle United are not actively looking to sell Nick Woltemade in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. However, the Magpies will entertain offers for the Germany international striker should he himself demand a move away from St. James’ Park.
Woltemade joined Newcastle from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2025. The 24-year-old striker has found the back of the net 10 times and has registered four assists in 40 matches in all competitions for the Magpies so far this season.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “I think it would be a big surprise if Newcastle were to cut their losses and Woltemade so early.
“He was a big signing for the future. (They) spent a lot of money on him, Newcastle, as well, and gave him a long term contract until 2031.
“So look, I think it would be a bit rash if they were to cut their losses on the player so early on into his career at St James’ Park, unless the player himself is seeking to move away from Newcastle.”
