Napoli are interested in signing Ernest Poku from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window, according to Fussball Daten. The German news outlet has claimed that another Italian club, Juventus, are also keen on a deal for the 22-year-old Dutch forward.
Poku joined Bayer from AZ in the summer of 2025. The youngster has scored five goals and given seven assists in 33 matches in all competitions for the German club so far this season. The winger found the back of the net six times in 75 appearances for AZ, while also registering 14 assists.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also reported to be interested in a 2026 summer deal for Poku. Napoli are said to have ‘put Poku on their shortlist as part of an ambitious squad rejuvenation project’, while for Juventus, the winger’s ‘ability to be used across the entire attack line makes him a versatile building block in the reconstruction of the Bianconeri’.
