The
Gauri
actress
allegedly
died
by
suicide
at
a
paying
guest
(PG)
accommodation
in
Bengaluru’s
RR
Nagar
area.
According
to
reports
by
Deccan
Herald,
police
discovered
her
body
hanging
in
her
room
around
midnight
on
Sunday.
She
was
just
26
years
old.
The
heartbreaking
news
of
Nandini’s
sudden
demise
has
left
fans,
colleagues,
and
the
television
industry
in
deep
shock.
Police
at
the
Kengeri
station
have
registered
a
case
of
unnatural
death,
following
which
the
body
was
shifted
to
a
nearby
hospital
for
post-mortem
procedures,
according
to
an
India
TV
report.

of

dying
by
suicide
have
sent
shockwaves
across
the
internet.
As
per
the
same
DH
report,
police
stated
that
Nandini
had
stepped
out
with
a
friend
earlier
on
Sunday
and
returned
to
her
PG
accommodation
at
around
11:15
pm.
After
entering
her
room,
she
did
not
come
out
again.
Concern
arose
when
her
friend
tried
calling
her
several
times
but
received
no
response.
At
around
12:30
am,
the
friend
alerted
the
PG
owner,
after
which
they
went
to
her
room
and
knocked
on
the
door.
When
there
was
still
no
reply,
the
door
was
forced
open,
and
Nandini
was
found
hanging
inside.
The
matter
was
immediately
reported
to
the
Kengeri
police,
who
arrived
at
the
spot
soon
after.
According
to
News18,
the
police
recovered
a
suicide
note
during
the
investigation
in
which
the
late
actress
claimed
that
she
was
in
“emotional
distress”
and
“intense
pressure”
as
her
family
was
forcing
her
to
get
married
against
her
will.
In
the
note,
she
also
reportedly
mentioned
that
her
parents
were
unhappy
with
her
decision
to
pursue
a
career
in
acting.

her

Reports
further
state
that
following
her
father’s
passing,
Nandini
was
offered

government
job
on

grounds.

declined

offer

continue

acting,

said

have

her
family.
