Splitsvilla fame Diksha Pawar has once again found herself at the centre of discussion after calling out her “so-called best friend” from the show. Diksha, who recently re-entered the Paisa Villa, had earlier taken the tough decision to get eliminated in order to save her connection, Himanshu Arora, after the duo failed to be declared the ideal couple at the Oracle. However, the recent episode left Diksha visibly hurt when Himanshu, who was safe with Anjali, was voted to the unsafe side by Akanksha, someone Diksha considered her closest friend in the game. The move sparked disappointment, especially given Diksha’s sacrifice for her connection.
Reacting to the episode, Diksha took to her Instagram story and shared an emotional note, expressing her heartbreak and sense of betrayal. She wrote,
“Just got done watching the episode.
Splitsvilla is a show about Love, but I thought i found more than that a best-friend in the show.
But it isn’t always what it seems, I gave up the show for my connection – hoping that my “friends” would protect him and not back-stab him in the name of the game.
I was extremely disappointed and heartbroken when i saw the last episode. Going to the unsafe side could be his choice, but trying to take out the only person he could potentially play the game was what really shook me! No hard feelings though, I forgot that we’re in a game after-all 🙂”
Diksha reportedly expected that even after her exit from the Pyaar Villa, Akanksha would look out for her connection, considering their strong bond and group dynamics since the start of the show. The incident, however, served as a harsh reminder of the competitive nature of the game. Currently, Diksha is focused on her journey in the Paisa Villa, where she is seeking a connection purely for gameplay and survival. Having already clarified that she has found love, Diksha is determined to move forward strategically, keeping emotions in check as the game intensifies.
