Days after a report that Millie Bobby Brown had filed a “harassment and bullying claim” against Stranger Things costar David Harbour appeared online, the actors appeared at the premiere of the show’s fifth and final season together.

Netflix posted video of them embracing to the screams of fans.
This despite The Daily Mail reported about a source alleging that Harbour faced an internal inquiry after Brown complained about his behavior toward her. She had reportedly done so before filming for season 5 began, and as a result, she had a personal representative with her on the set.
“There were pages and pages of accusations,” the source told the newspaper. “The investigation went on for months.”
The Daily Mail noted that none of the allegations involved “sexual impropriety.”

They’ve spoken about their family-like relationship before.
Harbour, 50, said in a July 2021 interview on the That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast that he had “always felt this kind of deep fatherly affection for her.”
Now 21, Brown was just 12 when the first season of the sci-fi series came out.
For her part, she noted at PaleyFest that she and Harbour had an intense relationship. Three seasons of the Emmy-winning show were out at the time.
“We went through so many different emotions,” Brown said, per Refinery 29. “We get angry at each other, we are like father and daughter. We got angry at each other, we would express our feelings on and off the set, and…those scenes were so raw and real that the reward is the scenes.”
At the same time, Harbour, who has no children and is going through a messy divorce with singer Lilly Allen, explained that his role as a father figure was an entirely new feeling.

“It’s a funny thing. I love acting, I love it so much, and what I love about acting is that it’s personal, and that you get to explore parts of your psyche that you may not be able to explore in real life,” Harbour said. “Because you don’t have, let’s say, children, because you don’t have things like that…so this was unlocking in me as a human being of a love that was human but that was pure.”
The first part of the new season of Stranger Things is available Nov. 26 on Netflix.
