Max Healthcare Reports ₹2,608 Crore Revenue in Q3 FY26 with 9% Net Profit Growth, ETHealthworld


New Delhi: Corporate Hospital chain Max Healthcare reported a revenue of Rs 2,608 crore with a net profit of Rs 344 crore, in the quarter ended December last year.

Operating ebitda for the period was Rs 648 crore, up 4 per cent on year-on-year (YoY) basis, while margin was 26.1 per cent compared to 27.3 per cent from the preceding three-month period.

In Q3, revenue from international patient increased by 14 per cent YoY to Rs 230 crore.

Max’s average revenue per occupied bed.(ARPOB) stood at Rs 77.9 thousand, up against Rs 75.9 thousand from Q3 FY25 and Rs 77.3 thousand in Q2 FY26.

During the December quarter, the hospital chain experienced a disruption in cashless services due to a standoff with multiple insurance companies over reimbursement rates. However, following a settlement, cashless services were restored by the end of the quarter.

The company executed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire Yerawada Properties Pvt. Ltd. (YPPL) for developing a 450 beds hospital in Pune.

Max expects to commission the hospital by 2030, increasing its presence in Western India to four facilities.

The company board has approved a brownfield proposal to expand its Dwarka facility by 260 additional beds, thereby taking the overall capacity to 560 beds.

“We expect a significant ramp up in our capacity in Q4 and in FY27. Encouraging performance in existing network hospitals and new capacity additions has boosted our confidence to further pursue growth opportunities, including our entry into Pune,”said Abhay Soi, Chairman and MD Max Healthcare Institute Ltd.>
