Masthishka Maranam Box Office Collection: The Malayalam comedy sci-fi thriller Masthishka Maranam (A Frankenbiting of Simon’s Memories) has completed its first two days in theatres since its release on February 27. The film, featuring Rajisha Vijayan and Divya Prabha among the lead cast, entered its third day in cinemas on Sunday, March 1.
According to trade estimates shared by Sacnilk, the film has earned approximately ₹1.05 crore (India net) over its opening Friday and Saturday. On its first day, Masthishka Maranam is reported to have collected around ₹0.4 crore, based on early data. The second day saw an increase, with estimates suggesting earnings of ₹0.65 crore, indicating a growth of 62.5 per cent compared to Day 1. Both figures are currently based on rough estimates and may be revised as final numbers are compiled.

Masthishka Maranam: Plot Overview, Cast And Technical Crew Details
Directed by Krishand, the film blends elements of comedy and science fiction with a psychological undertone. The story follows a grieving father who immerses himself in a virtual reality memory game. What begins as an emotional coping mechanism gradually transforms into a deeper investigation when he uncovers a disturbing secret connected to his long-admired idol, a globally celebrated superstar named Frida Soman.
Apart from Rajisha Vijayan and Divya Prabha, the ensemble cast includes Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, Rahul Rajagopal, Jagadish, Suresh Krishna, Nandhu, Zhinz Shan, Ann Saleem and Jain Andrews.
The film is produced under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. The screenplay and dialogues have been written by Krishand. Cinematography is handled by Prayag Mukundan, while music and sound design are composed by Varkey. Editing is also overseen by the director.
