Given the fact that it is a working day, Mardaani 3 is expected to see a slight dip and is likely to earn around Rs 1.5-2cr today (day 7/ first Thursday). While there are speculations about Mardaani 3 touching Rs 30cr in week 1, Border 2 is likely to fall short and touch Rs 26cr.

To note, Border 2 saw a decent hold in occupancy during the morning shows on day 7 and saw a footfall of 6.26% today. Given the decent response in footfalls, Mardaani 3 saw a slow start at the box office and earned Rs 45 lakhs from the morning shows until 12:30pm
Meanwhile, given the response to Border 2, there have been speculations about Border 3. Talking about it, co-producer Bhushan Kumar told Hindustan Times, “We are doing a joint venture with his (Anurag Singh) company and my company. He’ll be directing, and it will be something new. Border 3 will happen in due course”.
