Leeds United make Raheem Sterling transfer decision

Leeds United are not planning to sign Raheem Sterling in the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.

Sterling is a free agent at the moment, with Chelsea and the former Liverpool winger deciding to mutually terminate the contract.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “I think I would be surprised if Leeds were to pursue a move for Raheem Sterling.

“There was interest there before, but they’ve brought in Facundo Buonanotte already in this window.

“I think Leeds are more looking at a striker rather than another winger right now if they are to make any further additions to the squad at Elland Road.“

Leeds are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 23 matches, six points above the bottom three. Daniel Farke’s side will take on Arsenal at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
