After Dev’s defiance, Tulsi goes to Baapji and reveals that Dev planted the article. She demands strict punishment from Baapji and supports Baapji’s decision to cancel the marriage. In front of the whole family, Dev finally confesses his role. The cancellation hurts Dev deeply, and this leads to his emotional apology later.

Dev then apologises to Mihir and Tulsi, and admits that he loves Saloni. Yet a flashback reveals another angle. Noina tells Dev he blundered by lying, and says his act was understandable but getting caught was the bigger failure. She advises that if Dev wants to be a “hero” instead of a “supervillain,” he must apologise to Saloni.
Saloni’s father says their family does not wish for Saloni to marry Dev after everything. Still, because Saloni is in love with Dev, they decide to forgive him. They agree to the marriage, and Baapji repeats that he only wants Saloni to remain happy. Despite Tulsi’s continued objections, Dev and Saloni’s wedding finally takes place.
