Kombuseevi OTT Release: Kombuseevi, a Tamil action crime drama, has moved into the post-theatrical phase following its cinema release late last year. Written and directed by Ponram, the film released in theatres on December 19, 2025, and features R. Sarathkumar and Shanmuga Pandian Vijayakant in prominent roles, alongside debutant Tharnika. Produced by first-time producer Mukesh T. Chelliah under the Star Cinemas banner, the film presents a rural-set narrative rooted in crime, ambition and survival.

Set against the backdrop of a village shaped by displacement and economic hardship, Kombuseevi revolves around the lives of Rokkapuli and Pandi, two men burdened by a troubled past. Their ambition to become wealthy drives the story forward, placing them at the centre of a network shaped by crime, desperation and consequence. The film examines whether their pursuit of quick wealth can deliver the future they envision or deepen the challenges they already face.
